ok this is a test don't bother to look for links.

the fax of life

ok, kids, how many times have you said to yourself, "gee, i wish i could send a free fax to those jerks in washington just to let them know how i feel"? well, now you can, thanks to the phone company.

you'll notice under the "links" section on this page, that skippy has included a permanent link to the phone company, as well as to the home pages of the senate, the house of representatives, and even the white house. use these links to find the fax numbers to your various jerks in washington. then go to the phone company's site, follow the easy step-by-step instructions, and you'll be able to send faxes to your heart's content from the comfort of your own browser's email system!

one cautionary note: the phone company allows only a maximum of 6 faxes per day from any one given screen name (and weekends don't count as separate days! any things sent on sunday will count towards your limit of 6 on monday!)

but seeing as how congress people tend to ignore emails, and many people can't afford the long distance phone charges for a voice message, this is a fine alternative.
